THE WORLD’S MOST MAGICAL CELEBRATION
well guys, here we are. my FULL 50th anniversary review!! the good, bad and ugly
disclaimer: this is a review from someone who frequents the parks often, is an AP, lives in central Florida and can go truly at any time.
I literally got to the parks this day at 6:45 am y’all, truly insanity. I have never spent longer at a theme park, ever. I think I was there for a total of 15 hours (!!!!!) which is extremely unlike me as I usually only like to go for a few hours at a time.
I got there thus early to (1) see the castle show and (2) get my hands on the iridescent ears that I thought they were releasing (lol they weren’t) so realistically I could’ve gotten there an hour later than I did BUT that’s ok! It was insane to be there that early but what better day to do it than the 50th!!
Starting from the castle show, it was so so cute! A little short in length, but overall so so so super cutie and highlighted all the fab 5 in their adorable 50th outfits! Aside from the absolutely INSANE crowd, it was totally fun!!
This day, there were lines for the Emporium pretty much all day long and the collection that was actually released day of had a virtual queue that was filled up before 7 am, if that gives any indication at all of how many people were there.
By mid-morning, the crowds had really thinned out and I think that was because most people had done their shopping, taken their photos and left. The weird thing was, wait times for rides all day were so incredibly low, i’m talking maximum 45 mins for mine train which is unheard of! For most of the day I hung out with Holly and her mom and we really just relaxed, watched cavalcades and chilled! It was a great day to just take it all in and wait for fireworks that night.
Speaking of cavalcades, the 50th cavalcade is by far the cutest thing I have ever seen!! It is so hype and magical and full of life! Truly amazing.
Overall, I had a wonderful day but it was definitely one of the most draining days I’ve had.
Finally, we ended the day with Enchantment, which I have mixed reviews on, but overall it is growing on me and I hope to enjoy it more as I see it!
Thank you guys for reading this super fun (and long) blog post and I can’t wait to share more in the coming weeks!!
